| The colouring in this print taken from a well-drawn sketch has failed to show the mixture of colours in the trumpet cords and tassels. The RHA, being a royal regiment entitled the trumpeters to have red blue and yellow instead of the standard green cords. He does not wear his sword but has his equal length sword slings clipped together. After 1891 the swords were attached to the saddle. |
