Alex Baker’s illustration shows the colouring of the monochrome photo seen on this page. The trumpeter’s badge is clearly shown, having crossed gold embroidered trumpets with a laurel sprig. The tri-coloured cords and tassels are carefully painted, and we can see the yellow cap band on the pill-box forage cap.
