Fancy Dress Dinner and Dance, 1929

This interesting photograph of the European community having fun in Port Harcourt in 1929 intriguingly explains that the Fancy Dress Dinner and Dance is taking place on a German mail boat in harbour there. Sadly it does not explain the date or reason other than to say the year of 1929.
